Welcome to Jambiani Marine and Beach Conservation Organization (JAMABECO). We are a non-governmental organization committed to protecting and preserving our environment for the benefit of current and future generations. For over 25 years, we have been at the forefront of environmental education, community outreach, and implementing conservation projects in Southern and various regions in Zanzibar.
JAMABECO committed to both marine and land environmental conservation with integrating people in society. Our focus lies in collaborating with different people and communities to advocate sustainable uses of natural resources, their rights and build overall community prosperity.
Through our endeavors, we underscore the pivotal role of environmental conservation in fostering a thriving society. JAMABECO appears focus on addressing Zanzibar Island climate change and environmental pollution through training, awareness, and education. This approach can play a vital role in promoting environmental protection and building resilience to climate change.
